Children's Bike Parade

For the last 5 years, the children of Nelson County have really enjoyed the bike parade. Children can walk, ride a bike or non-motorized vehicle, stroll, roller skate, etc.. There are prizes awarded for many categories, however everyone that participates gets a little something. Here is the information:

Date: Monday, July 4, 2011
Time: Bike Parade Sign-up - 10:00am
Place: Corner of Main St. and Front St. in Lovingston, in front of the Union Bank.
Bike Parade Judging - 10:30am
Bike Parade Awards - 10:45am
Main Parade Begins - 11:00am

This year the parade theme is "Celebrate America". This is a great chance for children to show what they think is great about America. Please contact us with any questions at nelsonparade@yahoo.com. There is no deadline, so folks can sign up at 10am on July 4th. We hope to see you all there!
